Common Questions

Explore the commonly asked questions relating to our school programmes below. Please feel free to reach out to us if your specific question is not covered.

Apart from BOOM, all our shows are designed to be approx. 50 minutes. We have found this to be the best running time that will capture and sustain students’ attention.

There will also be a 15 minutes Q&A with the actors after the show.

    For 3pm shows:

    • Please arrive at the venue at 2.30pm
    • Please arrange pick up at 4.15pm

    For 5pm shows:

    • Please arrive at the venue at 4.45pm
    • Please arrange pick up at 6.15pm

Apart from BOOM, all our shows are specially researched and designed in a performance-lecture concept. Through original interpretations that explain, analyze and make transparent the Literature texts that students are studying, the performance-lecture provides discussion points and insights that can be used to deepen student engagement and understanding.

We have adapted the text in such a way that is accessible to students who are either studying or not studying the text. The Performance Lecture concept will introduce students to the world of theatre and drama which will enhance their reading and understanding of their drama text. Additionally, we will also be providing a learning resource pack that will allow all students to have a better insight into the performance.

All our performances are suitable for Lower Secondary Literature students either studying or not studying the respective texts.

Apart from BOOM, all our shows are performed at KC Arts Centre, 20 Merbau Road, Singapore 239035.

KC Arts Centre sits 370. Depending on how early you book your tickets, we are definitely able to accommodate your entire cohort in a single show.

Please refer to our School Programmes Booklet for the venue details. A Venue Pack with all the drop off/pick up details will also be sent upon ticket confirmation.

Ticket prices advertised are all nett.

Apart from BOOM, all show tickets are $53 (inclusive of $3 ticketing fee). After Tote Board 50% subsidy, it would be $25 + $3 ticketing fee = $28 per ticket.

You can claim up to 50% from the Tote Board Arts Subsidy. Do note that the $3 ticketing fee cannot be claimed.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a refund once the Letter of Confirmation has been signed. However, tickets are transferable, and another person can be sent in their place. Alternatively, should there be available seats for other show dates, the absentee may attend that show.

Do note that we will not be able to make any amendments to the number of tickets after the LOC has been signed.

In our effort to Go Green, no physical ticket will be issued for the performances. Instead, your signed Letter of Confirmation will function as your ticket proof. Our Front of House Manager will also be in touch with you on the day of the performance to facilitate a smooth arrival and entry to the theatre.

The performance is free seating and our ushers will sit your students by class, so your entire school will be seated together.

We will be e-invoicing your school after your school has attended the performance.

We do not usually send an Official Quotation. Instead, the Letter of Confirmation (LOC) which will indicate the show details and ticket prices will be the official document to confirm your booking. However, if your school requires an Official Quotation, please inform our team and we will be able to prepare one for you.
